Whereas the eastern part features a small sandy beach along the road with easy access but only average appeal, the western beach is blessed with breathtaking beauty. When the water retreats at low tide, a huge white sandy beach shows up, although at high tide there is not much left of it.

The bay is occupied by the boats of Phuket Yacht Club Ao Yon, but you will hardly see any tourists on beach. As there are no sunchairs for rent, it is more a place for individualists to enjoy a gorgeous lonely beach.
