Paradise Beach already raises high expectations with its name. And it really is a small juwel of a beach. It is a tiny and very scenic bay with two sandy beaches that are framed by big rocks and green hills.

Unfortunately the tsunami heavily damaged the corals in this area, so there are a lot of broken corals on the ground, though it is still a good beach for snorkeling. The rocks and corals on the other hand compromise swimming at low tide.

The road to the beach is quite a tough ride, but there is construction work going on recently. Once you have arrived at the beach, there is quite a comfortable parking and also a small restaurant. We just hope that there will never be any attempts to cut off access to the gorgeous place.
