Rawai Beach is no beach for swimming. It is just the starting point for tours with speedboats and longtail boats to explore the islands south of Phuket.

The beach is a mix of sand and shingle. Unfortunately you will also find all sorts of garbage here, so the beach is not really inviting, even if the view to the offshore islands is great and some restaurants along beach road are worth a stop.
