Sai Kaew Beach is at the northern end of Phuket, located between Sarasin Bridge and Mai Khao Beach. This area of Phuket is still undiscovered by tourists, but the beach surely has a certain charm of natural beauty. Unfortunately some parts especially in the back of the beach are spoilt with debris, a problem often found in places where nobody feels responsible for cleaning.
Before passing Sarasin Bridge on the way from Phuket to Phang Nga the main road comes very close to the sea and the beach. It’s always a good idea to pull out and to take a rest here in one of the local restaurants to enjoy the view of the white beach and the sea breeze while sitting under one of the simple sala roofs.
