Tri Trang Beach is the hotel beach of Merlin Beach Resort, yet the public still has easy access at the left hand side of the complex. But the beach is not really worth a visit. It is a sandy beach mixed with lots of shingle and broken corals, but lacks the appeal of other small beaches like the neighbouring Paradise Beach.

Rocks in the water limit swimming even at high tide, but offer at least some opportunities for snorkeling. At low tide any water activities are totally impossible.
